Ah, Christmas Eve. Once the sky is dark, there's only anticipation. Wonder. It's the night where leaving carrots in your yard or on the rooftop is normal. It's not forgetting to put out the cookies and milk. It's the night we look into the sky for a bright red light in hope Santa is nearby.  It's trying to fall asleep in a too quiet house, counting down the hours until the sun will show a glim... more.

In my first year of college, I learned the 2 ways to interpret the Bible. Exegesis: an attempt to discover the meaning of the text objectively, to explore the meaning of the text which then leads to discovering its significance or relevance. Eisegesis:  the process of misinterpreting a text in such a way that it introduces one's own ideas, reading into the text. I was taught to always in... more.
